On our way to Missionary Training
We can’t believe how quickly the past two months have flown by. Jon has improved so much in his ability to communicate in Spanish. We have loved our time in Guatemala, but we are also ready to be back in a world where our clothes and towels can fully dry and not everything in our apartment smells like mold. It’s amazing how just a couple of months can make us appreciate the bleak desert of Lima.
We will be flying from Guatemala to Colorado Springs next Sunday to begin three weeks of missionary training. In December we will be able to return home and hopefully be able to say goodbye to everyone before finally leaving for Peru. Please be in prayer for us over the next couple of months as we will be traveling a lot (which will grow increasingly uncomfortable for one of us : ).
