In between feedings and diaper changes we have had some moments to reflect on God’s goodness to us over the last year. Almost a year ago, we were told that we might not be able to have a baby or it may be very difficult to get pregnant. God answered so many cries by bringing Lilia into our lives. This morning was a difficult morning as Lilia refused to feed. She hungrily cried for an hour and a half and refused to nurse or be comforted. After making a few teary phone calls to other missionaries, we were told to call a La Leche league leader who just happens to be someone we already know, live 10 minutes away, is American and had a free afternoon to help us out. A couple of hours later she sat down with us, showed us some things to help feed Lilia, and mostly just encouraged us that what we are experiencing is normal and will pass. We are in awe of the ways God answers prayer! These were no coincidences. and…here are some more pics. We just can’t get enough of her and thought maybe you couldn’t either!
