It’s me, Lilia!

Mommy and daddy finally let me get my little fingers on the laptop so I can do an update of my own. Wow, this thing is heavy.  What’s new? Hmmm. Let’s see.

I love to laugh and smile. I am so much happier now that I take some medicine every day so my tummy doesn’t hurt.

Mommy bought me my first pair of shoes. Some little girl asked mommy if we were too poor for shoes. Mommy said something about ‘peer pressure’ when she bought them. Even the poorest little Peruvian babies wear shoes from birth. I like to show mommy and daddy how fast I can kick them off.

I am coming to a city near you SOON! Mommy and I are coming to the States. Daddy has to work. :( Mommy seems a little nervous about having me sit on her lap for 12 hours. I think it will be a lot of fun. Mommy’s great!

Hopefully, I’ll see you soon. I better go…I think it’s bedtime. Did I tell you that my sheets are pink and I sleep with Black Bear and Piglet?

God is so good.

Elise and Lilia will be visiting the US in a week and, after a sudden change in plans, are in need of a car during the visit. Early this afternoon we sent out an email to all of our supporters. The email asked if anyone would have an extra car that we could rent for a couple of weeks and here are some responses that we received within a couple of hours.

“God is so good!!! He has recently blessed us with a new car that she
is welcome to use, as long as you understand we would not even consider
any rental, payment or compensation for this opportunity to serve God in
this way.”

“I will be traveling on business the bulk of this time and will have my own rental car. You are welcome to use my car. It isn’t anything exciting, but will work and is reliable. We have a smaller car seat we can put in – that I think will work fine for Lilia. The only thing is I won’t take any money for it.”

“Use my car!!! I’ll write more later.”

Thank you all so much for your offers and willingness to share what God has blessed you with. We love you and appreciate you more than you know.

If you didn’t receive our last email or our monthly email newsletters, please let us know so we can add you to our list. loschadwick@gmail.com

Here’s a picture of Lilia when we got her out of her crib. Who says that a girl can’t look good first thing in the morning?

"Good Morning"
