Lilia and Elise ran to fight breast cancer this past weekend!
Elise has been running since a few weeks after Lilia was born, but started running with the jogging stroller a couple months ago to be ready for this race.
The race started at the mall, went out to the nearby horse track, around the horse track (which was partial sand, dirt, and mud…didn’t know that was coming), on the PanAmerican highway, and finished again at the mall. It was a lot of fun.
SURPRISE! There were also about 2 dozen speed bumps and a lot of these little raised things as well. We had to slow down a little for each one!
She finished the race in about 34 minutes (adjusted from start time.) Adding Lilia to the mix made it a lot harder, but was fun. The little trooper even fell asleep.
