It seems like everywhere we go people ask us if Lilia is walking yet. No, she’s not and she’s not even close. Some people just say ‘oh’ as if they were just curious, but some people just unleash all their opinions. “Well, are you helping her?” “Is she lazy?” “What does your doctor say?” and my favorite from today, “You know that walking has been linked to reading and you really should be worried that she’s not walking!” Of course we want Lilia to walk, but all these unsolicited opinions don’t help a bit. When the doctor saw her walking with our hands, he says he believes she is just cautious and this was confirmed today on our trip to the park. She is quite the cautious girlie; little seemed to amuse her at the park today. It wasn’t until the very end that she had fun. Here are some highlights:

Yesterday we started joking about ’stinky feet’ when we smelled Lilia’s feet. Today she started doing this when we said ‘whewwww!!! stinky feet!’
Wait, wait! In the time it took me to write this blog, this happened for the very first time! She’ll prove us wrong after all!!!
